Why should you join Java with Judith?
During my career, I have worked in the mental health field, Corrections, social work, and owned several businesses. All of this has led to a rich life, but yet, my true career has not been just about earning a living.
My true career is to serve mankind. I must truly be about the business of our Father, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac Jacob, and Yeshua(Jesus) the Messiah of Israel.
Java with Judith is a way to serve mankind, and bring together the beautiful diversity found within our communities. Join me for intimate conversations where we share joy, faith, and trials together as a community.
The Story Behind Coffee
My father was a heavy coffee drinker. He had a thermos that he took to work with him. He had coffee at supper. He had coffee on the weekends. When he operated a barbeque pit, his Uncle Worship Jones would start making coals by burning oak logs. He would also prepare the coffee. He and my father would sell barbeque sandwiches and drink coffee. People would stop by to sit and eat a sandwich and “shoot the breeze.” This was a weekly occurrence.
I grew up watching and drinking in the interactions which occurred over a cup of coffee. You could get people to relax after working hard in the many citrus related industries.
During my campaign for City Council, I found it very interesting and fulfilling to experience coffee and conversation with citizens. It brings back that feeling of intimacy that we experienced when entertainment was just sitting with your neighbors watching the sun go down or the birds at play.
Today, I continue the practice of meeting with friends at various spots to have marvelous conversations. I find that sharing a cup of coffee and just being in great company is soothing and brings about marvelous conversation.
